While interning at Spacejunk, I had the opportunity to work on a spot for Magic the Gathering. The process started with the amazing illustrations from the client, and continued with cutting apart the illustrations, and painting behind each layer to create each character and scene.
After which, the illustrations went into the animation phase, and each of the assets were placed on cards to get a better sense of depth.
